Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy explains what Lornell Real Estate collects when you use lornellre.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to turn the optional parts off.
Who we are
Lornell Real Estate, 22 1/2 Cherry Street, Spencer, MA 01562. Phone (774) 745-0015. Email [email protected]. We are a commercial real estate brokerage serving Worcester and Central New England, and we are the party responsible for the information described below.
Information you give us
When you submit a contact form, request a market report, ask about a listing, or sign up for updates, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and any message or property details you enter.
We use that information to respond to you, to send the material you asked for, and to follow up about commercial property that may fit what you described. If you opt into our newsletter or market reports, we use it to send those until you unsubscribe.
Form submissions are delivered to our team by email through Resend, our email provider, and stored in our customer database so we can track and answer inquiries.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site we and our providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and how you interact with them. This happens through cookies and similar technologies, described in the next section.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use three categories. Only the first is on regardless of your choice.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: routing between pages, submitting forms, protecting against abuse through Cloudflare, and remembering your cookie choice so we do not ask again. These do not track you across other websites and are not shared for advertising.
Analytics and session recording
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and listings get read, and Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors move through pages, including mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling. Clarity produces session replays and heatmaps of site usage.
Your IP address is processed by Google and by Microsoft as part of these services. See Google's privacy policy and Microsoft's privacy statement.
Visitor identification
We use Apollo to identify visitors to this site. When this is on, Apollo stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser and receives your IP address along with the pages you view and when you view them. It matches your IP address against its own database to determine the company you are visiting from and, where a match is available, to identify you as an individual and link your browsing on this site to a contact record. This data is sent to Apollo's event service at aplo-evnt.com.
Where Apollo determines it is permitted to do so, its tracker also loads a service from a separate company, LiveIntent, which attempts to resolve a hashed form of your email address (an MD5 and a SHA-256 hash) and returns it to Apollo. A hashed email address is still information about you: it can be matched against other databases that hold the same hash, which is how it is used to recognize you across different websites.
We use this to understand which companies and people are researching properties we represent, so we can follow up. This is a disclosure of your IP address, browsing activity, and potentially a hashed identifier for you, to third parties. Under California law it may be treated as a sale or share of personal information for cross-context behavioral purposes, and you have the right to opt out. See Apollo's privacy policy and LiveIntent's privacy policy.
Your choices
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, analytics, session recording, and visitor identification stay off until you accept them. Everywhere else they run by default and you can turn them off at any time.
You can change your choice whenever you like using the button below or the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Turning them off clears the associated cookies and reloads the page so nothing restarts.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out automatically and you do not need to do anything else.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to withdraw consent at any time and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call (774) 745-0015. We will verify your identity before acting on requests about specific records.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your contact details. We share information with the providers that run this site and our follow-up: Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery, Google and Microsoft for analytics and session recording, Apollo and its identity provider LiveIntent for visitor identification, and Resend for email delivery. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to enforce our rights in a transaction or dispute.
How long we keep it
Inquiry and lead records are kept for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship with you, and afterward as needed for legal and recordkeeping obligations. Analytics and session recording data follow the retention periods set by Google and Microsoft, which are up to 14 months and 30 days respectively at the time of writing.
Children
This site is aimed at commercial real estate professionals, owners, and investors. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
